If you're a beginner, investing little and often lets you ease your way in. You can get your money in the markets, working hard, without breaking the bank. Even better, you don’t have to fret about finding the 'right' moment to invest, and you can smooth out the market’s ups and downs, as well. Just remember, though, that your investments can change in value, and you could lose money as well as make it.

You’ve a wide range of regular investments to choose from. That includes popular shares (including the FTSE 350), over 2,000 funds and hundreds of investment trusts and ETFs. And whatever investment you choose, our dealing charge is just £1.50.

How do I set up a regular investment?
If you already have an account with us, log in and from the ‘My account’ menu, select ‘Regular investments’ to get started.
If you don’t have an account with us, you’ll need to open one – you can set up regular investments in a SIPP, ISA, Lifetime ISA, Junior ISA or Dealing account.
To make sure you've enough cash in your account each month, you can also set up a Direct Debit from your bank account. Just log in to your account and click 'Regular payments'.
How does it work?
Once you’ve set up a regular investment, we’ll place the deal for you automatically on the 10th of the month, or the next working day. You can change the details of your regular investment until 12 midnight the night before the deal.
Remember that you’ll need to have enough cash in your account to cover all your regular investments. If there isn’t enough cash and we aren’t able to buy a regular investment, we’ll let you know by secure message. To avoid running out of cash and missing a regular investment, you can set up a direct debit.
